We are thrilled to celebrate Katrina Mancenido, who represented Meighen Health Centre at the IPAC Canada National Conference 50th Anniversary (1976–2026) on May 25, 2026.
Katrina presented our study, “Acceptability and Hand Hygiene Performance of Alcohol-Impregnated Hand Wipes for Residents in a Long-Term Care Home,” highlighting innovative ways to strengthen hand hygiene practices among residents.
This work, in collaboration with the North Toronto IPAC Hub (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre), reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a safer environment and enhancing infection prevention in long-term care.
