Holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and a Master's Degree in Nursing Education, Nazila is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience spanning clinical practice, education, quality improvement, and organizational leadership. Throughout her career, she has led transformative initiatives that enhanced care quality, strengthened team performance, and improved resident and patient outcomes.

Her expertise includes geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, regulatory compliance, and specialized wound, ostomy, and continence nursing. As a former Long-Term Care Inspector, she gained deep insight into healthcare legislation, quality standards, and system-level improvement, further strengthening her ability to drive organizational excellence.

A respected transformational leader and change agent, she is passionate about advancing person-centered care, developing high-performing teams, and fostering innovation. Through visionary leadership and a commitment to continuous learning, she played a key role in transforming Meighen Health Centre (MHC) into a recognized centre for excellence in clinical education and professional development, while continuing to champion sustainable improvements that elevate resident experiences and healthcare outcomes.
