Armel Kanza is the Environmental Service Manager at The Salvation Army, bringing extensive experience in facilities and property management, along with a strong commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University and has earned multiple certifications through the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI), specializing in facilities and property management.

Over the course of his career, Armel has worked with leading organizations including BGIS, Honeywell, and ISS Facility Services, where he developed expertise in managing complex building systems, optimizing maintenance strategies, and overseeing lifecycle planning. He is well-versed in navigating regulatory frameworks such as the Ontario Building Code and Occupational Health and Safety standards.

Armel is particularly passionate about integrating corporate social responsibility with efficient facility operations. In his role at The Salvation Army, he is dedicated to ensuring safe, sustainable, and well-managed environments that support the organization’s mission and the communities it serves.
